Dan Fellner is a freelance travel writer who has visited more than 100 countries. His articles and photos have been published in numerous magazines and newspapers.

He also is a public relations consultant and faculty associate at Arizona State University, where he has taught courses in journalism, public relations, international mass communications and travel writing since 1998.

Fellner is a two-time Fulbright Scholar and two-time Fulbright Senior Specialist, having taught journalism and public relations at universities in Latvia, Lithuania and Moldova. In 2008 and 2009 he was selected to teach an intensive course in public relations at the Fulbright International Summer Institute in Tryavna, Bulgaria.

Formerly, Fellner worked as a television news reporter and anchor in four U.S. cities and spent 10 years in corporate public relations at The Dow Chemical Company.

When he isn't traveling or working abroad, he and his wife Amy reside in Arizona.
